Tucked away in the heart of South Kensington, Brompton Oratory is one of the most breathtaking churches in London — and easily one of the grandest spaces I’ve ever had the privilege to photograph. Its scale, beauty, and sense of ceremony make it an unforgettable choice for couples planning a traditional Catholic wedding.
As a wedding photographer who adores classical architecture and timeless rituals, Brompton Oratory is a dream. The soaring ceilings, ornate detailing, and long central aisle are nothing short of cinematic. Whether you’re having a full nuptial Mass or a more intimate ceremony, the church provides a sense of occasion like no other.
While I’m not able to share images from recent ceremonies held there (some of my couples prefer privacy, which I always respect), I can share some of the stunning architectural details that make this church so special. From the soft light that streams in through its windows, to the intricate goldwork and imposing columns, Brompton Oratory is a truly iconic setting.

The Oratory kindly requests that photographers remain discreet throughout the ceremony — something I take very seriously. Having worked in this space before, I understand how to make the most of the beautiful surroundings while respecting the flow of the service and the church’s guidelines.
Whether you’re pairing your ceremony with an elegant hotel dinner, a private dining room nearby, or a classic London venue reception, I offer a range of photography options — from micro weddings to full-day coverage. The grand columns outside the Oratory also make the perfect backdrop for timeless couple portraits — a quiet moment just for the two of you, before the next part of the day begins.
Take a look at my portfolio or get in touch to find out more — I’d love to hear about your plans.
