I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful Indian wedding at Prestwold Hall, and it truly shone as a venue for a joyful, colourful, and heartfelt day. The couple chose to hold their ceremony outdoors on the lawn, with the house as a stunning backdrop. It was a warm summer’s day, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect — surrounded by nature, with space for guests to relax and soak up the atmosphere.

After the ceremony, we explored the grounds and interiors for portraits. We started with relaxed couple shots in the gardens and at the front of the house, before heading inside to make the most of Prestwold’s incredible interiors. The grand piano room and sweeping staircase made for some truly elegant moments, while the light-filled orangery-style space (complete with soft greenery and stone floors) added something a little more romantic and relaxed.

One of my favourite things about Prestwold Hall is how well it flows - couples can move seamlessly from an outdoor ceremony to drinks on the terrace and dinner inside the house, without losing any of the atmosphere. The team on the day were also brilliant: calm, helpful, and clearly experienced at running weddings with care and confidence.

This particular wedding was filled with vibrant colour, beautiful traditions, and so much laughter, and Prestwold Hall offered the perfect canvas for it all.
