Dog-Friendly London Wedding Venues

Dreaming of your four-legged family member joining you on your big day? Now it’s possible. London has some truly wonderful venues that are officially dog-friendly, meaning you don’t have to choose between a beautiful setting and having your pup by your side.

Below, I’ve pulled together a verified list of registry offices, chapels, studios, pubs and hotels where dogs are genuinely welcome — along with some helpful tips for making the most of it.

Dog-Friendly London Wedding Venues - Registry Offices & Town Halls

These registry offices have made it clear on their websites or booking policies that dogs can be part of your ceremony:

Dog-Friendly London Wedding Venues

  • Old Marylebone Town Hall (Westminster) – Dogs (and even cats) are allowed on a lead or in a carrier. You’ll just need to let them know in advance.

  • Islington Town Hall – Welcomes one pet per ceremony. They even have a simple Pet Attendance Form to keep things organised.

  • Chelsea Old Town Hall (Kensington & Chelsea) – Dogs are permitted in the ceremony rooms, as long as they’re on a lead and booked in advance.

  • Morden Park House (Merton Register Office) – One dog is allowed in the Sheridan Room or outdoor gazebo. Do note that if your ceremony is moved indoors due to bad weather, your pup will need to sit that part out.

Chapels & Ceremony Spaces

  • Fitzrovia Chapel – A breathtaking golden mosaic chapel in the heart of London, and yes, it’s pet-friendly.

  • Asylum (Caroline Gardens) Chapel – Atmospheric and characterful, this unique South London chapel is well-known for being dog-friendly.

  • Abney Park Chapel (Hackney) – Allows one dog per ceremony (up to one hour). Pups aren’t permitted if your event involves food or drink.

Arts & Historic Halls

  • Battersea Arts Centre – A beautiful, creative space that regularly welcomes dogs at weddings.

  • Wilton’s Music Hall – One of London’s most historic venues, with bags of character — and pet-friendly too.

Studios & Warehouse Venues

  • Loft Studios (NW10) – A stylish, blank-canvas space where dogs are happily welcomed.

  • Studio Jones & Jones & Sons (Hackney) – Trendy East London venues that are known for being dog-friendly; I’ve seen plenty of pups included in weddings here.

  • MKII / The Old Dairy (Hackney) – A cool, industrial blank canvas where your dog can join the celebration.

  • Renegade Urban Winery (Walthamstow) – A contemporary winery venue in East London, fully dog-friendly and perfect for relaxed, modern weddings.

Pubs, Restaurants & Garden Venues

  • The Coach House at The Dog & Fox (Wimbledon) – A licensed ceremony space attached to one of London’s most dog-friendly pubs, with hotel rooms upstairs for overnight stays.

  • The Old Brewery (Greenwich) – A historic riverside pub that welcomes dogs for wedding celebrations.

  • Petersham Nurseries (Richmond) – A botanical paradise and pet-friendly too, ideal for couples who love nature.

  • Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings (Farringdon) – A chic, foliage-filled townhouse venue that welcomes dogs (just check lead requirements).

Dog-Friendly Hotels

  • Kimpton Fitzroy London (Bloomsbury) – Kimpton hotels are famously pet-friendly, with no size or number restrictions. Perfect if you want a luxurious, central London wedding with your pup included.

  • The Standard, London (King’s Cross) – A stylish, contemporary hotel where dogs are welcome in both rooms and wedding spaces.

Quick Notes & Good to Know

  • Always confirm in advance – Policies can change, so double-check directly with your venue.

  • Lead, handler & clean-up – Most venues require your pup to stay on a lead and have a dedicated handler for the day.

  • One dog per ceremony – Quite a few venues only allow one dog at a time.

  • Plan downtime – Weddings can be overwhelming for dogs. Make sure they have a quiet space to relax during the busy parts of the day.

  • Cute accessories – A floral collar, ribbon, or bow tie adds a sweet touch (as long as your pup is comfortable).

  • Emergency kit – Don’t forget wipes, bags, a spare lead, lint roller, and a few favourite treats.

Final Thoughts

Your wedding day is about celebrating with the people (and pets) you love most. With so many venues now opening their doors to four-legged guests, it’s easier than ever to include your pup in your London wedding.

If you’d love natural, heartfelt photography that captures every wag, snuggle and smile — I’d love to hear from you.
