If you’re dreaming of a London micro wedding filled with charm, elegance, and effortless joy, Chelsea Town Hall is a true gem — and this spring wedding was a perfect example of why I love photographing here.

As a Chelsea Town Hall wedding photographer, I’ve seen first-hand how this iconic London venue blends historic beauty with an intimate, relaxed vibe. Whether you’re planning a micro wedding or an elegant celebration with family and friends, Chelsea Town Hall offers a timeless backdrop.

A Joyful Chelsea Town Hall Ceremony

Set on the King’s Road, Chelsea Old Town Hall is one of London’s most popular registry offices — and for good reason. The grand entrance, framed by ornate stonework and sweeping floral arrangements, makes the perfect setting for confetti exits and group photos. For this spring wedding, the couple chose soft pastels and a romantic flower arch that framed the doorway beautifully.

Their ceremony took place in the elegant Rossetti Room, filled with soft natural light and characterful details. It was a heartfelt, joyful occasion surrounded by their closest loved ones.

Confetti, Laughter & Strolling Through Chelsea

Bride and groom hold hands, walking happily on a sunlit path lined with trees. He wears a tuxedo, she wears a white gown. Black and white image.

After the ceremony, guests gathered on the famous steps for the all-important confetti throw — always one of my favourite moments to capture as a Chelsea Town Hall wedding photographer. There’s something magical about that moment of celebration, with petals flying and smiles all around.

We then took a short walk through the leafy streets of Chelsea for some relaxed couple portraits. One of the joys of a Chelsea Town Hall wedding is how photogenic the surrounding area is — tree-lined streets, charming architecture, and quiet corners perfect for natural, romantic photos.

Classic London Details

No London micro wedding is complete without a black cab — and of course, we caught a few classic shots as the newlyweds departed. Whether you’re keeping things simple or planning a stylish reception elsewhere, Chelsea’s central location makes it a fantastic choice for a London wedding.
